Round 5 of the European Supermono Championships 2007 was held at the Oschersleben racetrack in Germany togheter with the 24h world series superbike endurance races.
Qualifying
Qualifying results from the first outing held on thursday evening was 11th place in dry conditions. Second prctice session on friday, i tried to wait for a fast rider to hang on and make a fast lap, but suddenly it started to rain and i eventually dropped to a 13th starting place !
Race
Saturday morning, support race to 24h sbk endurance !
Gray, rain hanging in the air, but dry... just 5 minutes before start the sky opens and it starts to rain heavily. Time for the rainbike, with cold wheels. Did gat a fair start and worked me up a bit, after four laps i saw agroup of riders that i had catched in on. Now it was time for racing.. that thought held for almost one lap ! Highsided in the exit of the corner before start-finnish straight ! No points this time !
